Arthur Duff Documentary

A documentary commissioned by the Accademy of Fine Arts of Venice.

Born in Wiesbanden in 1973, after living in the United States, his parents’ homeland, Korea, Germany and Japan, he settled in Italy. He currently lives and works in Vicenza and teaches at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice and Boston University. Since the late nineties he has been present as a visual artist in the Italian and international contemporary art scene. In 2010 he won the 2% prize at MACRO in Rome with the ROPE project.

In recent years he has created numerous works on an urban scale, participating in various collective exhibitions including: La Finestra sul Cortile. Scorci di collezioni private, at the GAM in Milan in 2017, The Muse, at the Whanki Museum in Seoul in 2016, Temi & Variazioni, Scrittura e Spazio at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice in 2011, La parola nell’arte. Avant-Garde Research in the 20th Century. From Futurism to Today through the Collections of the Mart, at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto in 2007.
